Cultural celebrations are the best! We rang in “The Year of the Pig” down at the Children’s Museum of Houston: lion dance performances, butterfly & lei making, Vietnamese village exhibit, and playtime in their climbing scape.

Afterwards, we drove to the University area for banh mi sandwiches (my favorite!) and tea smoothies.

We ended our Lunar New Year celebration with Chinese lantern making at the museum and reading a couple of fun books:
