I found this Time-Life book entitled “The House That Math Built” at the library bookstore, and we love it! The girls and I axed our regular Horizons and Teaching Textbooks lesson on Monday and substituted it for this fun book all about math – addition, subtraction, patterns and relationships, measuring, time telling, area, and logical thinking! Each page of the book is a different adventure! Why let “academics” get in the way of a good math lesson?
