Earlier this semester I started using these week-at-a-glance sheets to write down everything that the kids and I will be covering for the upcoming week. Well, since I made my recent cuts, I have to say that we’re getting a LOT more accomplished. Even with most of the family being under the weather this past week, we managed to complete a good majority of our assignments. We did not do anything with Hamlet or Amerigo Vespucci, and Farrah didn’t begin her new book (Charlie and the Chocolate Factory) as was planned, but everything else got finished.

And although this wasn’t on the list, Olivia even picked up her old recorder and learned “Hot Cross Buns” via a YouTube video. It’s a simple tune, but we have to start somewhere!
